Planning Your North Venice
Currently, Neal Communities’ proposed amendments are under review by the City of Venice’s Technical Review Committee (TRC), which is comprised of city staff and some key outside agencies. According to the City of Venice, the TRC reviews applications for adequacy of public facilities, services and utilities and consistency with the city’s comprehensive plan, zoning code and land development regulations.
This process can take some time. But, once a land use petition is deemed technically compliant by the TRC, the City of Venice will then schedule a public hearing before the Planning Commission.
